~Chin-atsuki: The Soil Compactor~

information
A chin-atsuki is a special agricultural tool used to press down the soil in a field to just the right firmness.
Before planting vegetable or fruit seeds, farmers use tractors or hoes to till the field and make the soil incredibly soft and fluffy. However, if the soil is too fluffy, the seeds won’t be able to sprout properly, or they might even get blown away by the wind. To prevent this, farmers use heavy iron rollers or similar tools to firmly press and compact the surface of the ground.
You can think of the chin-atsuki as a tool that turns an overly fluffy patch of earth into the perfect, cozy bed, ensuring that the seeds can be planted properly.
